I am so honored to receive the 2025 Erica Gwen Scholarship. I most value communication with others, especially when it comes to dire need in helping someone going through a rough time or just having a bad day. Using your voice can do so much and impact one person, even though it’s as little as “have a good day”. I am on the pursuit to inspire others to make an impact on society, creating a place where people feel welcomed and have comfort to rely on or lean on someone. I hope to continue Erica Gwen’s lasting legacy, impacting others to stand up for what you believe in and continue to have a positive attitude, which will reflect on others.
