I am so grateful and blessed to have received the 2024 Erica Gwen Scholarship. Standing up for others has always been a core value of mine; your voice can have so much power when helping someone in need. In my own life, I practice the belief that any kind action can have a lasting impact, no matter how small you perceive it to be. I always aim to empower others, whether it be through coaching soccer, uplifting my friends, or even just complimenting a stranger. I hope to continue to embody Erica Gwen’s kind spirit and positive attitude to make a change in the world around me.
